Hey, I'm Kadi Yao Tay. By day I run digital accounts at dentsu Ghana — programmatic, paid search, paid social for clients across West Africa. The rest of the time I run a small empire out of Accra called Dark Lantern Media: Squid Mag (the leading publication on African comics, animation, and games), Akolabone (a comics collective I co-founded at Chale Wote in 2013), AAFFia (the Accra Animation Film Festival), and Noanyi (a real estate platform Ghana's housing market needed).

I contributed research to Triggerfish's Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire on Disney+. I've spoken at New York Comic-Con, Angoulême, Annecy, and Encounters Bristol.
